HY-508A is a clay mineral that has undergone fine processing such as purification and modification. It exhibits good rheological properties including dispersion, suspension, thickening, and clay gelation in aqueous media. The product features the following characteristics:

  1. Thixotropic effect: low viscosity at high shear, high viscosity at low shear, strong thixotropy, capable of completely replacing traditional cellulose ether thickeners. Smooth application performance is significantly better than that of cellulose ether products.

  2. Wide applicable pH range (pH 6–12), easy to use, can be added directly as dry powder without activation.

  3. Excellent weather resistance and anti-enzymatic degradation. Stable viscosity across different temperatures.

  4. Stability: superior biological stability, good thermal stability.

  5. When used with organic polymer thickeners, it is not prone to flocculation or floating.

  6. Clear dosage limitation: beyond a certain threshold, viscosity increases sharply.
