HY-508B is a clay thickener made from clay as raw material through fine processing such as purification and modification. It exhibits good properties of dispersion, suspension, thickening, and rheology in aqueous media. The product features the following characteristics:

1. Thixotropic effect: low viscosity at high shear, high viscosity at low shear, strong thixotropy, capable of completely replacing traditional cellulose ether thickeners. Smooth application performance is significantly better than that of cellulose ether products.
2. Wide applicable pH range (pH 6–12), easy to use, can be added directly as dry powder without activation.
3. Excellent weather resistance, anti-corrosion and anti-enzymatic degradation properties. Stable viscosity across different temperatures.

5. Compared with organic polymer thickeners, it is not prone to flocculation, floating, or color separation.
